This is a BRAND NEW set of LEGO^® Power Miners 8957 Mine Mech from 2009. This set is still factory sealed and the box is in very good condition with minor shelf wear. This set contains 67 pieces and 2 minifigures. An inventor’s pride and joy, the Mine Mech is a one-of-a-kind experimental research and excavation walker with a unique neutronium power core. Thanks to its adaptable multi-function design, it’s useful for all kinds of underground missions, from emergency rockslide rescues to scientific research, and its triple-strength armor plating means that it can withstand major punishment during a cave-in or monster attack. Its spinning plasma cutter heats up in a flash to slice through even the toughest rock, and its powerful grip-claw can clamp down to hold or crush almost any material. One thing the Mine Mech isn’t, though, is quiet. It’s constantly clanking, whirring, stomping and beeping, but it comes in handy so often, it’s hard for the team to complain.
